This drum just seems to do whatever asked of it and just sings at any tuning from barely tight enough to hit the heads to piccolo range.
Good looking drum, I've never played one of those. Is it blue or black?

It's high gloss black Lacquer. When I got the drum the previous owner had not taken care of it and the brass lugs were green with tarnish and gunked up, the clear coat was basically gone on them. I painstakingly stripped all the tube lugs down and polished them all then gave them a cleaning in mineral spirits and acetone I believe then had a local guy spray an automotive clear coat on them. That was around 93'-94' I think when I got the drum. It's seen alot of gigs since and had performed flawlessly on them all. I should take some better photos of the drum. It's one I'll never sell for sure. They really build these drums well !
Great drum. I have the same one that I picked up back in 1988. I bought it to use on an Iggy Pop record and have used it on 90% of the records that I have done since....Thats a beauty ...... it's built by people who care about the instruments they make.
