Yes! That first shot is priceless! Liberty should use it as a promo shot.

Congratulations! They did exist after all. Nice finish, too. They look a lot less orange-y than the stock pic.

Yep Amazon declared them lost after 7 days. (Was shipped 2 day prime)". I told them I didn't want my money back I wanted the drums. Then oddly enough the tracking showed movement and they arrived a few days after . Ether Amazon never gave them to FedEx or they sat in a FedEx stored area for a week Packed very nice by liberty btw . Defenatly not a return. They sound great ! They make me want to play Bohnam Fills

This is amazing, the missing gold sparkle set. I have dealt with Amazon for 7 months over this kit. When we pulled from Amazon they sent me the only one they had in stock, even though we showed 2. We went back and forth for months with no avail. Unbelievable she showed up. Happy you got her and she has a good home with a bear as a friend. I love playing this kit. Great for that nostalgic gig.

Got it last night. It's heavier than I had anticipated. But it never gets obnoxiously bright, and kind of sits in a dark wash no matter what you are doing. It's not really dry, but quite a bit different from an A. or AA B20 cymbal wash. Stick definition isn't as great as I had hoped, though it's not bad, either. Would be great for general gigs, but probably not a primary jazzing cymbal. Which given the Vintage name, I thought it might lean a little more that way. Definitely worth the $, though.

I got 18's last year (thin)....2 of them for $126....took a while to sell the extra for even $90 to be honest.

I picked up a few sets of the Meinl Symphonic pairs when Amazon was blowing them out.  The thins and mediums are without a doubt 100% amazing drumset cymbals.  They are entirely hand made and the hammering on each is outstanding.  I'd venture that they are some type of Istanbul/Diril product that Meinl contracts out.

Anyway, they are borderline impossible to flip to the general drumming public because 1.) there is no drumset sound files or videos and 2.) the logo says "symphonic"

Anyone with a good ear will appreciate these cymbals, but, I can vouch - they are a difficult flip.
