Our sound guy let me borrow his GoPro so I of course had to make a quick video! Strapped it to my head and tried to make a decent solo. Thought I'd share! Thanks

Pins and RC are like peanut butter and jelly.

Although, I've found most negative remarks about Pins are found on drum forums, but they are ubiquitous in the real world when you look at overhead shots of the kits of many respected professionals. Sometimes, they even have gaffers' tape or Moon Gel too! It seems to me that some of these guys are not as picky as we are...LOL!

Excellent playing and the kit sounds great, but not a fan of the POV camera work. I think it would look better if mounted on a stand. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I have a few gigs coming up and will be mounting the gopros on solid stands for those.

Still trying to figure out the best angle and audio. I think I need to remove my waterproof case and get a frame mount for future videos.

My band played a city park in North Arkansas this weekend and I recorded a few tracks. Here's one from our album!

In my experience, out in front of the PA mains is the best mix, drums included.  I have a GoPro mount stuck to the top of my stage lighting rig.  It always sounds best when it's near a PA speaker.
