My newest Craviotto acquisition arrived yesterday from the factory.
5.5x14, Mahogany, 30 degree edges; and my name inside!
Nice low end for a 5.5" shell.

Beautiful drum. Gonna perform all around for you as well. Love Craviotto snares. They're addicting, I've got 3

Congrats, that's a beautiful drum!  I bet it sounds fantastic.

I really love the sound and vibe of a 5.5" wood snare with re-rings and 30 degree edges ...

Beautiful drum sir!

I love genuine mahogany in a drum for both sound and looks - Craviotto is one of the few to give you the real deal.

Congrats.

Craviotto used to use Remo heads. They've recently switched to Aquarian because the service is better.

This "calfskin" looking head is from Remo. I have NO IDEA what series it is.

I've already pulled it off and replaced it with an Aquarian Jack DeJohnette head, so that it matches my Ayotte kit.

The "calf" head from Remo is probably a SkynTone.  I've used them quite a bit now and I really dig them - I like them much better than Fiberskyns.

*Now back to talking about how beautiful that Crav is.*
