This drum has to be seen to be believed. Out of my entire collection over the years, this is the drum that elicited the most "oohs" and "aaahs" from my guests. It is simply breathtaking in person.
While the look may draw you in, but the SOUND is what keeps you. Cardwell drums aren't made of exotic woods using space-age techniques, they are just well-conceived, well-built instruments with literally decades of experience poured into every one. Bill Cardwell is a master craftsman, and there is no arguing that when you see and hear this drum.
The drum features COB triple-flanged hoops and 10 tube lugs, Trick throwoff and Puresound wires. And that finish. That unbelievable finish.
I'm VERY much on the fence about selling this one -- it was literally the last drum in the lot -- but I'm still keeping close to 20 snares so it's tough to justify hanging on to.
That said, it's a rare drum and hard to put a value on, so I'm going to offer it for $500 (firm) + shipping and be happy to keep it if it doesn't sell at that price.
