I just bought my first guitar.

G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy Tribute series.

Has such wonderful reviews and a cool finish, I couldn't pass it up!

I have an  American G&L Asat as well as the Strat version that G&L makes (can't remember the name off hand), love them both. Play great and they retain their value.

The G & L initials stand for George Fullerton & Leo Fender.

I think they both founded the company.

Terry, It was the MF "Stupid Deal Of The Day" sale-priced at $299, I pulled the trigger on impulse.

I took it to the gig still in the shipping carton - my guitarist checked the tuning, plugged it in, and played it all night (4 hr gig)
After the first set he offered to buy it from me at my asking price of 350, so I sold it to him and he loves it.

That's funny. Great story. Ace
