So I have been thinking of a cool way to display my tour passes and lanyards for some time now.
I had a few ideas, at first I was going to make a big picture frame and put them all in it but I wanted to leave the lanyards on the passes, and then I was thinking about taking one of my vintage marching bass drums, turn it on its side, put a piece of glass over it and toss them all underneath... but id rather restore and play the big bass drums.
Today it finally it came to me, just build a shelf and use dowels to hang them off...
wait not dowels...
OLD DRUM STICKS!
heres a few pictures of the process so far;

That's just freaking fun right there!! What a great idea and spot on build... My brain just does not go cool places like that!

Who is the photo of the service man on top, a nice place of honor I'm thinking on top of the shelf.

Nice idea and execution.  I have been contemplating making a set of drumstick wind chimes.

That would be my Papa, Flight Sargent Buster Cosh. Added another small piece of my uncle David and his favourite harmonica that was given to me after his passing. David was the one that gave me my first drum kit and started my whole drum life journey (added a photo below)
