Soundtrack is for "Wretches & Jabberers" and songs are:

1) The Letter by Carly Simon

2)  Low Barefoot Tolerance by Stephen Stills

Thanks!

I am usually good at tracking stuff like that down, but this one eludes me. Even the Library of Congress failed to mention the backing musicians: https://catalog.loc....e=1&permalink=y

I was thinking Allmusic.com would have the info but no.  I can't find either song in the artist's respective discography - I think they were one-off songs recorded for the album.

I am possibly going to pick up some drum equipment from the "famous" drummer that plays on the songs (and has recorded many other albums) but I can't get a straight answer out of the seller as to the I.D., so I have major raised eyebrows on this deal.......

If it helps, here are links to the songs if anyone can ID them via ear as I sure can't!

Stephen Stills brings to mind Dallas Taylor, who also did some work with Carly Simon, once upon a time, if I'm not mistaken.

However, how recent are these performances? Dallas Taylor died in 2015.

https://www.imdb.com...8501/soundtrack

IMDB says:

The Letter
Performed by Carly Simon
Music by J. Ralph
Lyrics by J. Ralph & Carly Simon
Recorded at The Theater, NYC

Low Barefoot Tolerance
Performed by Stephen Stills
Music & Lyrics by J. Ralph & Stephen Stills
Recorded at Stills Residence, Los Angeles, CA

So the two songs were recorded on opposite coasts, though that doesn't preclude that it wasn't the same drummer. Most of the songs are listed as having been recorded at "The Theater, NYC."
