Hi Everyone,

I just recently purchased a beautiful Brady Jarrah Ply Snare, 6.5” x 14”. It sounds great. I noticed that the snare cords are starting to fray a little bit and I want to make sure I replace them with some good quality cord. Any recommendations? Also, if you are a Brady snare owner, what is your preference for snare wires?

Puresound all the way. Have it on my Jarrah Block baby too, had it on the previous Brady too.

My Brady Jarrah Block came with nylon straps but it is a very early model. Still have them on the snare.

I would use grosgrain ribbon or Ludwig snare cord - I use the Ludwig on my Brady

This stuff is pretty bullet-proof and you get a lifetme supply in every roll. I think I got it at Joann Fabric a bazillion years ago.

I use Ludwig cord on both of my Bradys. I use generic German snare wires from DfD
