I don't believe the metal connector should be bent on the SK

The rod that connects the footboard to the beater appears bent...

This is not proper I believe

If you google images there are both straight and bent - I assume they all started out straight.

 

You can ask the seller and see what they say.  Can't you just bend it back anyway?

You can .. I have on a couple. Theoretically bending any metal can cause fatigue ( remember Uri Geller and his mind-bending spoon trick? ) but I don't think straightening it out would cause any real issues.

I had one that was tweaked like that.. I assume it was just to adjust the footboard higher and/or stop the pedal from bottoming out on the hoop clamp
