I love natural wood drums.  My favourite is this maple Ayotte - the grain is just beautiful.

14x5...came with the kit....

...I added the wood hoop just before this pic was taken. All of these drums have been reheaded since and the snare now rocks an Aquarian Jack DeJohnette head.

This one is a Steinway natural finish, and one of my favorites. Everyone always says how stunning it looks. Ludwig Santos Rosewood over maple. Same finish as the all natural AVH signature snare.
