Mine is a DIY kit built with Keller maple shells; setup and exact choices of drums & cymbals can vary, but these are the two setups I use most often.

I have two kits: A practice kit and a performance kit. They are the same sizes and I use the same cymbals and snare.

Posted Image

That's the practice kit: 8x12, 14x14, 14x20 Premier 70s kit in brown swirl.

Here's the gig kit:

Posted Image

DW Jazz Series, 8x12, 12x14, 14x20. Black Finish Ply with champagne inlays.

Anyway,

Ludwig 5.5x14 Black Beauty or Slingerland 5.5x14 Artist Solid Shell snare drums

Zildjian K Constantinople Cymbals
22" K Con Medium
20" K Con Medium Thin Low
18" K Con Crash
14" K Con Hi Hats.

DW 6000 hardware with a 7500 hi hat

This is probably the best rig I've owned-- I am extremely happy with it.

67, all matching serial #s. Except the bongos, they're early 70s. 62 SBPs in the back ground.

16 x 16 floor tom
68' Acrolite

early 2000's 14" New Beat top/14" Quick Beat bottom
Pork Pie throne with Gibraltar backrest

Practice/sketchy gig kit: Slingerland 12/14/20 that I restored. Snare is usually a Sonor D506 or a Surpa:

Main kit: Sonor Delite, 12/14/18. Snare is usually a 5x14 Delite. I also have a 22" BD but it doesn't get used much.

Cymbals vary but they're usually all Sabians. Usually play one ride, two crashes, with sometimes a splash. HH's are 14" but I do have a wicked 16" set up comprised of a thin crash on top and a Ozone on the bottom.

anybody else like me?...thinking YIKES, I dont have "A" setup...dpeends on indoors/outdoors, size of room, how much I feel like loading, choosing various cymbal combos to try, what color I feel like playing, what I played the last time...so many drums, so many decisions...I'll post my "main" kit pic later...
