Drums, hand percussion and bass are my main instruments, but I do play some guitar.

My current axe is a 2012 Fender American Special Telecaster through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.

6i,

Many of those guitars look quite similar. Why so many?

My cousin is the Reverend Horton Heat, so he helped hook me up with a gretsch. He plays the 6120 but I have the 5120 and then installed the pick-ups of the 6120 myself (TV Jones pick ups). So i got me the same kinda deal for half the price! Favorite guitar ever.

I just sold my MIM Tele and bought an American Pro Tele. I also have a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp. That combo is really fun. There is a button in one knob to make the bridge pickup a single coil. This is a new practice amp. Ace

My first (and favorite) is this 57' Harmony h52 with a little hot rod pinstriping. If there's a warmer sound than a gibson p13 pickup in an archtop body, I'd like to hear it. The latest addition to the Harmony stable is this h162 "grand concert" acoustic. The pattern for the gold leaf work was based on a 30's Harmony Supertone decal....

Having been strictly a guitarist for many years before I picked up the drums again, I have too many guitars.  However, my most recent might be my last, but then again, GAS is an evil wench.

I am a drummer, hand percussionist and bassist. I can play rudimentary guitar, but I don't call myself a guitarist.

Several bands that I play with rehearse at my house as it is convenient, I have drums, basses, guitars, and a good PA ready to go. Players just need to show up and play. To this end I have been slowly upgrading my guitars and amps that I have on hand.

Shown below from left to right...

A Martin DXC1E acoustic Electric, a 2012 Fender American Special Telecaster and a 2012 Fender American Standard Stratocaster are in front of a Fender Acoustsonic Junior, Fender Blues Deluxe and a Fender Hot Rod deluxe.

Yep... I was 14 when I saw the video for "In My Dreams", and I fell in love with his guitars and playing style. Unfortunately they were very expensive and I couldn't afford them back then. Fast forward 25 years and I decided to finally get one of the guitars I had always dreamed of. Then I just kept adding more.

I saw this thread thought i'd contribute... I do not play Guitar just drums but I do own a incredible guitar collector piece

I have a Paul Reed Smith SE245 2016 Carnival Of Madness Edition Electric Guitar that is Signed by

Zach Myers of Shinedown and Guitar/Singer Chris Robertson of Blackstone Cherry.

I won this guitar last August in a sweepstakes... I am sorta considering selling it or trading it for a Pearl Reference Series kit in sizes 22x18,13x9,18x16,16x16... ANYWAYS here it is...

Nice score on the PRS. There are probably several Shinedown fans that would love to get a hold of that guitar. Did you get any kind of back story or documentation with the guitar? That would add more value to it.

If you have someone willing to make the trade on the reference kit you would be coming out ahead on the deal.

I don't have any documentation of the guitar other than a photo of me and the 2 band members backstage holding the guitar when they gave me.. The guitar was also played for 5 mins in front of me by Mr. Myers unfortantely I wasn't able to get that on camera... I plan to have a appraiser do an offical appraisal but I have been told by many people who has seen this guitar that it could fetch in the range $3,000-$5,000 due to two facts

1. it was signed by two multi platinum artists who have more than 1 platinum record out

2. Guitar is Limited edition to only 17 SE model in the Carnival of madness theme. My guitar is #11 of 17 made specially for this sweepstakes that were given away on the tour

I was under the impression that you won it in a sweepstakes, and they just shipped a signed guitar to you. The fact that you got to meet both of them and they personally gave you the guitar is a whole different situation.

Honestly, I would have a hard time letting something like that go. One of my Kami IVs is signed by Lynch, but it was the previous owner that got it. It doesn't mean nearly as much to me as the Sunburst Tiger that he played and signed for me when I met him.
