About Me

Started drumming at age 9. Always loved the look of the drums, even as a small child at weddings and banquets etc.... The shine and luster of the cymbals and the chrome hardware was awesome to me. First kit was my Italian grandmothers wooden spaghetti spoons and my fathers recliner. I loved the thud sound that chair made!! Eventually my dad got pissed off enough about the cracks in his leather recliner that he bought me a used 1960'slingerland kit (marine pearl) which I foolishly painted over so it would look more like Tommy Lee's black kit on "Shout at the Devil". As the years passed I managed to learn enough to hold a decent beat and eventually found myself in the drummers throne in wedding/GB band at 17. That band put me through college and gave me the opportunity to meet the love of my life. In 2000, after 15 years of weekend gigging I stopped playing and concentrated on home and family. Sure enough though, by 2007 the itch was back and I joined a WHO tribute band trying my best to emulate the chaotic riddle that was Keith Moon. Unwilling to use "stimulants" (as Keith would have) and being 38 years of age that project became very tiring, very quickly and has been on hiatus since 2009. But alas, once a musician, always a muscian, I find myself close to reforming this last project in order to have a release mechanism for the daily stresses of life.

Cheers
