here is the real deal - and i will say it out loud - the full john bonham giant beat cymbal set. you can kinda get the sound, or you can get THE sound. like riding on a big cushion of clouds. great patina on these cymbals with plenty of fingerprints! i would not dream of cleaning as there is just too much juju, but of course the future is always yours. late 60's, early 70's time line. overall nice condition. i have gigged them a few times, and they are ready to go to rock. took a while to put this pile together (try finding an 18!). they are a lot of fun to play, and i learned giant beat history, but i am winding down the gear thing and have other cymbals in similar sizes and vibe. i want to turn these into a set of high end stereo speakers that i will use far more often. if you are interested, then you know what these are and what they are worth, so let's not be silly. i have no way for soundfiles and might be able to get approximate weights, but that's not really what this brass is all about, is it? more pictures if needed. some details......................... 24 - visable logo, slightly irregular hole, slight tape residue on back. 20 - no logo, very slight keyhole. 18 - visable logo, slightly more keyhole. 15 - no logo, no keyhole. each hi-hat has a small edge crack. one is 1/4'' and the other slightly smaller. there when i bought them, and have not changed. marked the spots with a small piece of tape so i would not hit there the few times they were played live. how to set a price? individual map prices on the reissue set come to about $1500. you can buy as a package for $1150. i figure that these are as cool as a set of reissues and they come with a humes & berg hard case, so $1500 paypal (we can discuss details) plus actual shipping to lower 48 please. i pack good and ship quick - ask around. pm for best results. thanks for looking.
