I believe these are early 80s. All have had naked bottoms for some time and have varying degrees of road rash. However, The 12 and 13 had the tops removed so the bottoms are factory. Go figure. Hardware is varying degrees of decent-very good. Most lugs looks like they’ll clean up fine. Missing some plastic tube plugs. Generally dirty and wrap is cracked. WYSIWYG. Anywho... $250 local pickup Tacoma,WA. If you want additional pics or details just holler.

I'm in his town (close anyway). Want me to ship for you? Could strip the hardware from the shells and likely fit in 2 boxes.

Thank you for the offer but add in shipping cost I couldn't afford it.

Yup. Shipping is killer cross country and these are not exactly light tubs!

Those shells sound amazing. Some say Rogers best, I think I agree.

These could be in the running for "Rescue of the Year" - the cause is noble, the results likely to yield an extremely playable, fine sounding set up, evocative of its time.

I can figure an estimate tomorrow. If amosguy is willing to pick up and do the dirty work that would be swell. :)

    Fedex ground estimate:
24x24x20 box for bass drum and tom arms, legs, etc. 35 lbs (29 lbs plus box and packing materials) $72
20x20x20 box all toms nested and stripped. Hardware boxed/bagged inside the nest. 35 lbs (29 lbs plus box and packing materials) $57

Best of luck on those taxes!

Might be able to bring that down a bit with some of the materials I already have. Unless they have been stripped and boxed already.

Haven’t touched them. I figured a bit on the high side for packing material weight. The drum and hdwre weight is accurate though.

Floor tom has a small area of ply separation. Wrap is lifting, and is cracked on all drums. Missing some screws on mounts. FT legs do not seat straight. Holes may be distorted or memory clamps are worn, not sure. BD hoop is pretty much toast. Let’s call it $200 if picked up as-is.

those big floor tom legs are almost always off center when you tighten them down - drives ya nuts. but i think the hole pattern is the same for swivo legs, so you can swap out. the early big R stuff had swivo legs. $200? hold out for $199! hope you guys make this happen.
