I have a Yamana RC kit that was found boxed on a shelf in Japan by the Canadian rep and I purchased it new well after they stopped making them. It's in mint condition as I've been playing my PHX kit.

    The sizes are: 14 X 22, 7.5 X 10, 8 X 12, 14 X 14 ad 16 X 16 in Piano Black.

I've not shipped a drum set or sold one, so I wanted to gauge interest before trying Reverb or eBay.

If seriously interested, let me know.

Have you tried selling the kit locally? The sizes you have and the fact that they're in mint condition makes them very desirable. Heck, I'm about 2 1/2 hours away and you've sparked my interest!

This is the first attempt I've made to sell. Local market to my knowledge is weak in Toronto area and drum stores need their margin or prefer trades. I think the price is fair and what someone would pay if buying second hand at a store and I'm not willing to take 50 cents or less on the dollar.

If you're really interested we could work out a point to meet.

The used market is very soft right now and it is a buyer's market. The reality is that money is tight...if you want to sell something, you have to sell it fairly cheap. The days of having multiple buyers and getting asking price are long over, I'm afraid. I sold five kits to get my PHX kit and took a pretty good bath on all of them. Otherwise, it will just sit there and sit there... Good luck to you.

In the pic posted, the bass drum looks to be 16x22, not 14" depth. Is this correct?

I love mine! And Treviso is accurate with it being a buyer's market at the moment, I'm afraid. It won't move for $2500, cases or no. But best of luck with the sale!

If you don't have to move these, I would hold on to them.
Maybe go down a few bucks but the reality is you can't get MIJ RC's any more.

Breaking that kit up would be a sin.

Confession: That's the only way I could sell my old RC kit a few years ago. Nobody would buy it for $1,800 (if I recall). When I listed the drums individually, I NETTED over $3,000. I was the fortunate beneficiary of two guys who entered a bidding war over the highly-desireable 16x16 deep aqua floor tom. Go figure.

I would. It would take time for me to get boxes and pack. I'd ship at cost. Truthfully, it's unlikely to be cheap.
