Hi, I saw a message of yours about a pearl MLX set. I recently just purchased a used MLX for a very good price. What heads would you recommend?

I haven't play that kit in 11 years. I have always used different types of Remo clear heads with good luck. Don't remember what's on them now. My current Ludwig kit has Evans G1 and G2's clear. It's hard to experiment with different heads when they cost so much. What color is your MLX kit? Mine is a red wine lacquer.
