    Yep, the Legacies have 3-ply shells with re-rings. They are not exactly the same as '60s 3-plies but the concept in making them is pretty much the same. The badges are newly made Keystone-replicas and they don't have any serials. For some reason the 12" rack tom has 2 badges. Can't really tell...

    Hmmm....'"light punch"... I guess this is the expression I've been looking for! :) Yes, these 3-ply shells do have the same characteristics as the '50s-'70s 3-plies, with some freshness & more attack to it. Sort of vintage meets contemporary, In a very-very good way.
