Yes, absolutely. Dave Krusen's work on Ten was good, Dave put a less refined version to emulate it. I thought Jack Irons was a better fit but Matt Cameron is just a better all around drummer.

I will still rank Dave Abbruzzese at the bottom. Nice guy but just not the drummer the band needed. Arroyo did a heckuva job.

I'm currently rebuilding a 70's 14x5 2000 and can't wait to try it out vs an Acrolite. I love the Acro so it should be a fun try out.

I did it by weight. I have a 16” 2002 thin crash as a top and a power crash as a bottom. I know the range of weights for those two models and paired from there. They’re about the same weight as many 14” hi hat sets.
