K Custom Dry Complex II 20”. I think I may have been one of the first 5 people to see the ad on Reverb—just logged in at the right time and immediately bought this for a pretty reasonable price. 1899g. It looked almost unplayed when I got it and I think it’s opened up a little bit in the last...
18” A Trans Stamp ~1460 grams. Amazing cymbal. The stamp looks incomplete like it didn’t press all the way down in the middle—I haven’t figured out which subcategory of trans stamp it is quite yet. Here is a video clip:
I’m the one who got that Trans Stamp off music go round! Great cymbal. I’ll put up a little sound clip in “latest cymbal purchase” if you want to hear it.
Hi all, shout out to @Stpdrummer for this 20” Large Stamp A Zildjian. Great cymbal, lightning fast shipping and very very well packaged and protected. This was my first DFO purchase and it was 5/5 stars
Agreed Rich. Thanks for the encouragement. The grey sparkle 6.5 is kind of my white whale. I have a grey sparkle bop kit that I bought used and special ordered the 5.5” snare and 10” & 16” toms right before they discontinued the sparkle finishes. I never saw them in any advertisements so I was...
Hi Rich, thanks for the reply! The birch 6.5 seems to be more common in these finishes but Nori from Canopus told me there are maple 6.5’s in in the Red and Grey sparkle. By the time I got in touch with them they had sold out. I haven’t seen one for sale yet online so I figure they’re pretty rare.
Hi everyone!
I’m seeking a Canopus Yaiba 6.5” maple snare in the Grey Sparkle lacquer or Dark Red Sparkle Lacquer finish. These are hard to find but I know they’re out there somewhere. If anyone is getting rid of one I’d be eternally grateful!
thanks!

I think also Elvin Jones was involved in designing the...
Hi Rick and everybody!
Just want to pile on more love for the Kerope 19”! Mine is one of my trusted go-to cymbals. It’s very focused and works in any size room—strikes a perfect balance between dry (via the brown finish) but decent crash and great projection. It might be my most used cymbal.
I...
Hey Jaymandude, I agree and I think it’s neat! I love Zildjian cymbals for their sound and projection but I have heard the argument that they can sound too uniform compared to handmade cymbals which I think is a valid point. These artist prototypes keep things interesting to me and adds a bit of...
That Joe Strasser ride isn’t bad either!
Kicking myself for making an offer when I should have bought on that one on Reverb especially because there’s probably only a handful of them out there. I really like Keropes but have wondered how they would sound with a different bell.
Thanks JDA, here it is:
