    If the Roc-n-soc seat was easily removable I would carry it in my trap case but because it isn't, I carry it around fully assembled. Or just fold the legs up if I'm loading my larger set and need the space in my SUV. I use the plastic bag that my 20" Zildjian ride cymbal came in to protect the seat. It's just the right size to slip over the seat and protect it from the elements.

    I also wipe down the chrome with a towel to prevent rust.

    Right! I made myself a cover out of black canvas material with a drawstring. I also leave mine attached, fold up the legs. But I found that I was always needing to store it on its head. But those bar floors - bleck! Was going to offer to throw one together for you, but it sounds like you got it covered. If you change your mind let me know. Happy music trails.
