1964 Slingerland white satin flame pearl set

Shipping will be whatever the actual cost is, I won’t charge extra to pack. I’d like to see these go to a good home . I would prefer to carefully wrap each shell and nest them for shipping in one big box as that is how I received them from Ny state last year. Which cost $55

1964 Slingerland white satin flame pearl set

I’m thinking to pass on a very clean Slingerland set , 20/12/16 and matching 1965 6 lug snare. I wanted to post here to see if there was any Slingerland fans that may be interested. I’m open to offers and thought a starting price of $1250 seemed fair. I’ll post some pics and if you’d like more...

The One Piece Of Gear You'll Never Part With...

I bought my first new set of drums in 94, custom ordered Noble and Cooley CD maples with a matching solid shell maple snare. This set has just gotten better with age and has so much sentimental value I don’t think I could ever part with it. I also have a pair of 50’s Zildjian 14” light weight...

That is exactly what I did my friend. If you look here also , when I got the set someone had replaced sparkle in the hoops. The second pic isn’t great but it shows the two well enough. What do you think ?

    Dating a Slingerland set.

Yes, the beast of a snare did come with it as did all the period stands and foot pedal. The snare is a late nineties early 2000’s era. I just received samples from precision drum and it seems to me that this purple finish is actually glass glitter though? I’m going to have Bernie at Stone Custom...

Hello All and Merry Christmas! I apologize in advance if this has been beat to death but I’m pretty new to the forum and tried searching and have found some answers. 1965 Slingerland Bearing Edges

I love all my mid, late sixties Slingerlands. The baseball bat bearing edges and 3 ply shells produce beautiful deep warm tone.

Tape on a cymbal without issues

I’ve been using a tube of clear silicone caulk and have had good results. I’ve put a circle of it just outside the cymbal felt underneath and it’s worked perfectly to tone down some unwanted overtones and dry it out. I’ve had good luck with just putting different size drops in different...
