    Anyone planning/dreaming about a move?

Do you feel like LA is not what it once was in terms of the music industry? I'm in Phoenix, wanting to move to Vegas. Was planning to go last year but the pandemic put a hold on that.

Ear protection- what do you use?

I use the Vater earplugs if there's no IEM mix, otherwise it's always IEM. I use those when playing at home to tracks also, with a few drum mics in the mix.

UPDATE, I used Flitz polish! What are these big dark marks on my Sabian HHX's?

Revisiting NAMM 2020’s Biggest Controversies (Drumeo/Gibson)

Revisiting NAMM 2020’s Biggest Controversies (Drumeo/Gibson)

I think that he thinks he's a bigger deal in the music world than he really is, but that's because all these online drummers treat him like he's some celebrity.

Revisiting NAMM 2020’s Biggest Controversies (Drumeo/Gibson)

That is the solution, other exhibitors do that each year.

Revisiting NAMM 2020’s Biggest Controversies (Drumeo/Gibson)

Plus I had never heard of any of the people playing there when I was in that area, but I wasn't around there all day (unlike some people). That whole thing about how he's not trying to sell anything there, it's to promote drumming is a total lie. They're not making any transactions there at the...

Revisiting NAMM 2020’s Biggest Controversies (Drumeo/Gibson)

No that's not correct. You can make noise, it just has to stay under 85 dB (or whatever the limit is now). This includes scheduled performances and demos. Has to do with OSHA regulations. I saw Steven Adler play at the Soultone booth a few years ago. He wasn't super loud but it was just a quick...
