Too bad you did not speak up, when I had it listed through Donn. He had it at 27,000 and someone offered 21 and we accepted and then they sort of never got back to us. So I sold it to Donn for around 17.
bunch of other stuff
There was 2 matching 24s with all the tension rods and claws(some in a box) but missing a hoop on each. a complete 18, 16 floor toms, mounted 13 14 but missing a hoop each. 10 and 12 concert toms with the stand and clips. A 5X14 supra in really good shape...
Well it was in an auction, only 6 blocks from my house. I bid up to 1225.00 for the whole set of stuff they were selling, would have been 1500 with the sellers fee. but I decided I did not want to spend that much and have a project on top of it.
The sale was for this.
Oh I see what you mean, largest measurement was 24 1/4 and smallest measurement was 23 3/4. so I think the vertical had settled down a 1/4 and the horizontal spread a 1/4. probably because the reso head and been removed for a long time.
Have a chance to pick up a 24" 70s pointy BO badge Black Cortex ludwig locally. I measured it and it is about a quater of an inch out of round at its worst spot.
It will need new heads so wondering if that much will make getting heads on and tuning difficult?
Need to know asap. Thanks.
No I can't tell but the crash has a nice small bell and looks thin and the ride hammering pattern spacing does not look uniform enough to be a cheaper machine hammering like the zxt or zbt. The hats are B8s.
Another set selling where user has no idea the worth. 300 for set and cymbals and hardware and the cymbals are worth that alone and set is nice satin finish showing wood grain mapex.

Well after selling a great sounding pre-serial 602 last month for less than half what the new ones are selling, and reading this talk of how people like 24s, I looked around this week and just purchased an old A for 2.50 at an auction.(I was the only bidder as it was being sold in a kitchen...
Wow, just for fun, I went to the Juliens auctions main auction search and typed in "Drum". Crazy rich people buying those historic sets and pieces. 2.1 mill for Ringo set. 189 thousand for Stewart Copeland's blue Tamas.
Interestingly, the search for "cymbal" brought reasonably priced results...
Wow, these wont last long, posted today. Blue sparkle Rogers XP8s $475 for 4 piece. They were rewrapped 5 years ago and had script badges added but rest is original. The floor tom is Big R but other 3 are XP8s.
