    Any Sonor Drummers here?

I’ve had this oak phonic kit for several years. 20/10/12/14 and a 16 I added later that is just slightly different of a color. I no longer have the sig snare.

Who has experience with 60’s Zildjian 24” rides?

So for me, yes, I think the price is a bit on the higher end for the weight and condition. Steve's data through 2017 is a pretty good indicator, though it might not capture the current market. Here is the overall distribution of prices by era. Here's the key, weight. If its not exactly...

Who has experience with 60’s Zildjian 24” rides?

One of my favorite cymbals is a 24 60s A that is around 3200 grams with lots of patina, a little bit of edge warp, and lots of miles on it. Feels and sounds perfect for me in the settings I've used it in and its quite versatile. Small combo settings to organ trio to much louder. They exist but...

SOLD: Zildjian 22" 2600 gram block stamp

My sell off continues. Everbody needs a 22 block stamp and this one is exceptionally nice. So why am I selling? Its too similar to my 22 Lauritsen and I can't justing keeping everything. No rivets in the video but this cymbal loves rivets. Lots of patina, very mild keyhole. I bought this a...

SOLD: 20 1/4 Zildjian Trans Stamp

Here's a 20 1/4 ~ 2240 trans stamp. Really nice with rivets and works either as a left side or a main ride. Issues are keyholing and one rivet hole with multiple smaller holes drilled out around it. There are a couple of hairline cracks I can see around this rivet hole but its really hard to...

    Your latest cymbal purchase.....

Two months later this finally arrived. 20 1/4 inches and ~2240 on my kitchen scale. Just a nice trans stamp. I can't figure out what the multiple holes around the one rivet hole are about, no cracks that I can see. Odd! Sounds like a nice medium trans stamp should.
