***** Those Rogers 8" snare drums

I dont normally collect the big R era, price was hard to turn down. These drums were made to be loud. Big R stuff doesnt draw the interest that swivo era stuff does.

    Rogers Dynasonic 15 x 8

The kit I posted was in a church in the sunlight for many years. This drum was prolly out in the light for years as well.. If its a chemical change, there's nothing I can think of to do to change it. If it didn't have the fade it does, I would have been far more skeptical when buying it.

DanC do you know of any pictures of one? I would love to see em. Yes Bijan that is true. The threaded tabs for mounting are fragile and 3 are broken, but have replacements on the way!!! I also found 12 of the 20 square headed tension rods I need too.

    Rogers Dynasonic 15 x 8

This isnt a marching drum, tho you could march with any drum lol. I think its Concert/Orchestral type according to what Ive been reading about this size.

    Rogers Dynasonic 15 x 8

The 63 Ludwig cat. had one, was called an Auditorium and was $80. This drum was $155 in 1963 and is listed in 64 and I believe 67 Rogers catalogs... It was found approx. 200 miles from the Covington plant. I have never even seen a picture of one before. .
