He has been a friend since high school, and we are still close. We talk several times a week, though we play in different circles these days.
But lately I am struggling to relate to my friend and I have hopes that I can learn some insights into understanding my buddy and his motivations.
I’m a brass snare guy. My 3 favorite snares, of the 30 I own, are all brass.
The wraith shipped with an Evans Heavyweight stock, a request it’s designer fought for and was granted by Mapex/Black Panther for his signature drum.
After playing it a while I swapped out for a single ply UV1 and wow...
I began drumming at 14.
Studio and gigged through college.

I was 20.
She was 43 at the time.
Today I am 55.
