Ain't no shame in mixed cymbal brands.
Old, new, high end and entry-level, etc...
It's about Your sound and style.
Mixing cymbal brands is not a sin.
On the contrary, it shows that you
like to explore and expand your sound
beyond tradition.
Break the norm, substance without form.

Beats me...
So many legendary Rock drummers
are playing kits that are so huge
they gotta put the tours on hold
and sue UPS to hurry up bringing
the rest of the kit to the venues. :icon_mrgreen:
I'm happy with my drum kit....
...for Now.
My envies:
1. The DW Aluminum Machined
Direct-drive double-kick pedals
2. The Trick Drums Dominator
double-kick pedals with the latest

Wipe my bearing edges with a piece

Breath-Polish my hoops with a

(the way I breath-polish my glasses)...
Check all the lugs, and tighten any

I hope I can at least go far enough as to record (basic demos and live shows)
for local bands, before I lose any more

I have an old vintage Tama hihat stand
that attached to the base with a steel
"U" bar. It's tripod feet get in the way
of my dblkick slave pedal...
I might reinforce the U bar with a
thick steel joiner plate, and chop one
of the side feet off to get my
dblkick slave pedal right next to
the...
