Old WFL Floor Tom Leg brackets

I’ve only dealt with the later style push button leg brackets, but they’re really simple. It should just be a spring and the “button” with the leg running through both. Sometime a bit tricky to get back together, but pretty dang easy to do.

WTT: Sabian Legacy Cymbal Set for 8”x14” Ludwig Black Beauty

I know this is a long a shot but I have a Sabian Legacy cymbal set (22” heavy ride, 19” crash, 15” hats) that I’d love to trade for an 8”x14” black beauty. Let me know if you’re interested! I’ll post pictures this evening. Thanks!

    Bizarre Slingerland Wrap “Fade”

It is a Niles badge. The drum also does have a 4 bolt rail. I just had taken it off to clean the drum. The interior is date stamped “OCT 1961”. Here’s a picture with the rail installed. The spade is an aftermarket one I had laying around. It did come with the original short spade though.

    Bizarre Slingerland Wrap “Fade”

The kit as a whole has me scratching my head. The bass drum is from 1961, the snare is from 1962, the rack tom is from 1966, and the floor tom is from 1965. All the drums match perfectly and had their original heads and the owner I bought it from had owned the kit since 1968. My only guess is...

I would put those wind chimes in the garbage, where they belong.

    Bizarre Slingerland Wrap “Fade”

It’s stamped October, which makes sense with when they started including serial numbers and the low number.

    Bizarre Slingerland Wrap “Fade”

There’s a date stamp on the interior of the shell. The serial number is pretty low. It’s 2038.

    Bizarre Slingerland Wrap “Fade”

I really think the discoloration had to do with the wrap reacting with old evans head that was on the drum. The bottom edge showed standard light blue pearl and under every lug was normal light blue pearl. Also, this drum came with a kit that was LBP and not BDP. Here’s a picture of the batter...

    Bizarre Slingerland Wrap “Fade”

I haven’t pulled the bottom head off yet. Hoping to get the whole kit torn down this weekend. It’s definitely not black diamond pearl. That’s why I removed a lug to check. It’s part of kit that is entirely light blue pearl. No weird fading on any of the other drums though.

    Bizarre Slingerland Wrap “Fade”

The dark part under the head is what has me so confused. It was a very old, Evans head on the snare batter. I would guess the head was from the mid 60s at least. It was a plastic head though.

    Bizarre Slingerland Wrap “Fade”

Anyone see light blue pearl discolor like this? I removed the lug to show the unfaded color. Pretty wild stuff. This is a 62 Hollywood ace snare I just picked up.

1930s Leedy Broadway Parallel Strainer Questions

Hey guys, I recently picked up a 1930s Leedy Broadway snare. Everything is in pretty good shape except for the parallel throw looks like it has a few pieces busted off. Do you guys think that this would be repairable? I’m just concerned with being able to find the correct parts and not having...

Any experience in how the citizen compares to a GS with the 9F movement? I’ve been getting interested in HAQ recently.
