I’ve only dealt with the later style push button leg brackets, but they’re really simple. It should just be a spring and the “button” with the leg running through both. Sometime a bit tricky to get back together, but pretty dang easy to do.
I know this is a long a shot but I have a Sabian Legacy cymbal set (22” heavy ride, 19” crash, 15” hats) that I’d love to trade for an 8”x14” black beauty. Let me know if you’re interested!

It is a Niles badge. The drum also does have a 4 bolt rail. I just had taken it off to clean the drum. The interior is date stamped “OCT 1961”.

It’s definitely not black diamond pearl. That’s why I removed a lug to check. It’s part of kit that is entirely light blue pearl. No weird fading on any of the other drums though.
I recently picked up a 1930s Leedy Broadway snare. Everything is in pretty good shape except for the parallel throw looks like it has a few pieces busted off. Do you guys think that this would be repairable? I’m just concerned with being able to find the correct parts and not having...
