    Greyson Nekrutman reacts to Whiplash

I saw it and found it tedious and boring. Movies are almost never realistic depictions of life, think archaeology and “Indiana Jones”. That said, “That Thing You Do” was so much more entertaining for a film focused on the drummer.

Are snare wire upgrades that important to sound quality?

I usually go with original manufactures snare wires but changed Gretsch 20-strand wires for Ludwig 18-strand Vintage on a RB 4157 and like the change. They’re a bit livelier.
