I use a small shot of wd 40 with a trickle of rubbing alcohol or jus vegetable glycerin. Veg glycerine werks best. The wd/40+ alcohol leaves it slimy but werks great after airing for seconds or so . Mix well ! /a

my 98 ludwig birch has to be my favorite kit. snare drum demands attention !

i hav 1998 ludwig birch . drums hav two silver badges per drum ( keystone) . kit has the mini lugs. im told rockers were jus before my kit hope this mite be some help. i believe kit is 7 ply

yea rudymild here in detroit. just bought 1998 ludwig hunter green birch ( no wrap) 22.12.14.16. 14 x 6 1/4. original hardware. its double silver keystone badges. yes mini lugs on all except snare. it did not come with kick pedal. i bought a vintage ped but dont kno if it is correct to thet kit

my 98 ludwig kit is birch . made with no wrap . hunter green. and single braced stands that are actually ridgid. mini lugs on all toms. drums are stamped 1998 . not a rocker badge though. badge silver key stone. thx for info !
