Exactly. I think too many people are caught up in the “small ingot/sheet vs big ingot/sheet” thing rather than what goes into the metal itself. I’m not shilling for one over the other since “sounds better” is subjective and the whole Zildjian vs Paiste debate is akin to debating religion.
DW makes good snares but, aside from the Edge, nothing that they make sets them apart from what other companies have made for decades. I’m talking about sound or shell build.
