Is there anyone in here who is willing to answer a few questions re vintage bearing edges on a few brands? You don't have to be a master of all knowledge but an idea of angles and the science behind them would be helpful!
What a rhythm section, BB and John Glascock. Wayne - he disappeared from public life not long after this due to his dissatisfaction with Jethro Tull's handling of John Glascock during his illness and subsequent death. He owns, or did own, a recording studio to the west of London but doesn't play...
I always played 22's or 20's until i took a chance on a 24x14. I've never looked back. Easy to carry due to depth, massive low end & I don't find it harder to play at all, although I have a small 4 inch hole in the front. Go for it!
I worked for GC for about 6 or 7 months in 2007 - 2008. The store staff knew a fair amount between us but we had terrible management who only cared about commission and sales, and would happily tell us to rip off customers who didn't know the value of the stuff they brought in. I remember that...
Don't quote me on this but I believe that Yamaha uses the same legs for their Maple Custom line, at least that's what I gleaned from reading the parts list from Yamaha's website a few years back. I would hope someone can confirm this as I have a 16" Tour Custom from the '80's that I need legs...

I picked these up in a local charity shop for the grand sum of 15 / about $22. Apologies for terrible quality pictures, my phone died and I had to use an old phone. I can get better pictures a little later on when my girlfriend arrives.
The first is a standard Premier single headed tom, looks to...
I've used both and preferred the sound of 215's and, as noted above, the longer cable. Having said that I've been using just the M6 Pro's recently as I broke one of my 215 earbuds and I've not felt like anything's missing besides cable length so definitely try some!
Or even than Travis Barker? :laughing6:
Speaking of Peter Criss, his playing on "I Was Made For Loving You" still blows me away to this day and certainly his best drumming ever....
Peter Criss didn't play on IWMFLY. That was Anton Fig
That made me laugh loudly. Just because it would be...
