Hello! It’s hard to find certain sticks right now and my go-to AJ2’s are no exception. I’d love to find some if anyone has any leads or insights.
Thank you all much!
Here’s another great player! This is the Standard model of the series. It has a heavy brass spun shell with rolled and soldered flanges but without the doubled up center bead. So it’s a 1-piece heavy brass shell. 8 tapped Imperial Lugs. Modern heads fit, it tunes great, and everything functions...
It does! Yeah, I’m not sure why it doesn’t have the extended gates but doesn’t seem it ever had them.
The sound is very nice! I’d call it “lively” with a full and warm tone. The wires activate easily. Very fun to play.
Here’s a cool little drum very very clean. The original wrap looks about new. I replaced the original hoops due to warping. Clips and everything else are original. Non-original but good wires will be included. Asking $250 shipped CONUS obo.
Hello! I have a really nice player drum up for grabs. Overall a really nice player. No shell structure issues or re-ring separation. Modern heads fit nicely. It was refinished and has extra holes for the P-85. Missing the muffler. I was told this belonged to the drummer for Canadian band...
Here’s a funny request. Anybody have a 16” Z or Paiste flat available? I heard some in the 1280 gram range and really liked them. Anyway, let me know if you have one available. Thanks!
The standard configuration may change a bit. E-kit hybrids or straight e-kits will be even more common in live and recorded music. Maybe acoustic drums will be a thing of the past? This coming from a guy that has several 100 year old drums, haha.
Good luck on your hunt! I regret selling my 22” and 20” Mike modded for me in about 2007. The 22” started as a K Dark Medium and was 2886 grams when done and the 20” started as an A Custom but he totally transformed it to get down to 1900 grams. I sold them both through Maxwell’s several years...
I have to think it was in a fire that got to the right temp to relieve the tension. Might have been cleaned some post-fire. Looks pretty loose in the video. Weird cymbal!!
