Agreed. I always get excited when rdavidr's uploads a new video. I find the cat highly likable and entertaining. Plus he's got some really good fabrication skills.
Kinda bummed that some are slagging on him. Now MEYTAL is a different story
Thankfully, I've never experienced 1,2, or 3.
Haven't had to deal with 4 in about 20 years. If I don't know you, you're not coming up. If I do know you, then I invite you up for 2 or 3 songs and I grab a beer and listen to my band.
The worst thing for me is forgetting a piece of gear at home...
I'll admit it, I have my own preconceived notions, biases, and stereotypes. For example, if I walk into a club and the drummer's got his two rack toms mounted on a stand to the left of his bass drum; I generally know what type of experience I'm in for.

Whenever I see SS play lately, it always makes me a little sad. His touch has gotten so soft. I know he probably had to lighten up if he wanted to have a long lasting career in drumming, but I really miss the animal!! Here he is playing with some authority!!
And that was the moment Vinnie re-re-discovered that great Gretsch sound and was baptized in silver sealer. He was home again and the drums weren't fighting him any longer....The End
I believe dsop was/ is in charge of Vinnie's social media or ran his website. If anyone were to know it would be him. Seems kind of irresponsible to claim someone was sick on the Internet without having all the facts.
- Of course Ringo's Ed Sullivan snare
- Any snare owned or played by Bonham in studio or live
- and how about Neil Peart's #1 Slingy Artist that that appeared on so many studio recordings and live performances?
I think "Holy Grail" needs to have a distinct provenance tied to a note-worthy...
