Great question! This is going to be my gigging kit. Its flashy, it sounds good, and the color goes very well with our bands colors on our logo pictured here. Itll allow me not to have to take my INDēs out all the time.
I leave em on. Loosen the legs, shorten them and put em in their case. Setup.....pull drum out of case, loosen leg, adjust to the memory lock and tighten. I thought that was the whole point to having them, no?
I have a couple older keys by Ludwig. I'm not sure the exact year but from what I've found online they are possibly 30s-60s. $15.00 a piece shipped or both for $25.00.
The newer key looks to be a 70s key $10.00 shipped. I'd consider a trade for a 40s Slingerland key or late 60s Slingerland 80N...
I did some adjustments today and threw a 15" snare wire on. I think I got it correct. It certainly makes the drum sound crisper. Do you happen to know, how many strands and length of the original snare wires?

I'm missing one muffler knob(pictured) and in need of one bass drum spike 11-1/4 long X 5/16 round in diameter. I also need the winged bolts for the cymbal holders on a '68 80N. I'm not sure the size, and need two. Anyone have these parts laying around ?
