    Here's my new pandemic guitar

Nice. The guitar I kept is a Gretsch G5422TG. Walnut stain with all gold hardware and the 'tombstone' inlays on the fretboard. I would like to do the TV Jones upgrade someday. But the stock pickups do quite well. I ditched the round wound strings in favor of some Thomastik flat wound "Jazz"...

That's where I have been leaning toward. Gretsch shells, DW Hardware. BUT, I still havent found a better single bass drum pedal than the old Pearl Eliminator Power Shift.

    OT: Bourbon drinkers? Favorite Bourbon...

Even harder to find than Buffalo Trace, and just as tasty is Blantons. Blantons has the extra bonus of a cork (with the pewter jockey) that fits into a tom holder to plug the air hole on the kick drum if you play toms off the kick.
