    Wuhan Cymbals

I want to play the edge side up of my 18" China with factory installed rivets. When I do, the rivets will be upside down, the head of the rivet would be on the under side. They are straight rivets, not split. Is there a way to remove the rivets then put back in the cymbal on the flip side...

    Beverley cymbals

I have a lovely set of 1965 Beverley drums. I know the horrors of Beverley/Zyn/Krut cymbals but when offered a 18" thin Beverley cymbal w/ rivet holes I went for it. As a gesture of heritage I shall put the cymbal on a stand to the right of the floor tom. In any event, the guy who sold it to me...

When were the first Pacific CX drums made?

Beverley 6-lug wood 6x14 snare. Make it sound better?

Thank you. Good advice. What type of heads, good question. I really can't figure that one out. Would it be a good idea to have a set of wires with less than 20 strands?

Beverley 6-lug wood 6x14 snare. Make it sound better?

So, I have this snare drum from 1965 or so. It looks great with the kit but I would like to get it to sound better. Evans head? German wires? Suggestions?

    Let's talk about Ringo's Sizzle Cymbal(s)

I bought some Zildjian rivets for the cymbal. Haven't received them yet. Wish me luck on installing them. I'm not real good with that sort of thing.

    Let's talk about Ringo's Sizzle Cymbal(s)

I bought that cymbal. Zyn and Krut were made and sold by Beverley, not associated with Premier at that point other than Premier buying hardware from Beverley. Beverly was manufacturing metal and steel parts for buses, etc. How many rivets did Ringo have in his cymbal? Was it four?

    Rivets for old cymbal

I have the opportunity to obtain a funky old cymbal which has five holes drilled in it for Rivets. Anyone have five rivets they could pass along? Also, are rivets relatively easy to install? The videos of installing rivets looks fairly straight forward but there always seems to be something...

    20” kick vs 22” kick

I like the way a 22 looks but I like the way a 20 sounds.

    Those Wonderful Vintage Italians

Nice cymbals. Unusual and one of a kind. I like that. As far as Watts' 16" UFIP, a 16" is very rare. Took me close to 30 years but I have one also.

    Joke Thread

An Englishman's wife steps up to the tee and, as she bends over to place her ball on the tee, a gust of wind blows her skirt up and reveals her lack of underwear. "Good God, woman! Why aren't you wearing any undies?" her husband demanded. "Well, you don't give me enough housekeeping money to...
