Maybe it's a local thing here.
I'm surprised though because you're in IL.
I'm in the snow belt and people want to get out - not 'outside out', but out of the house.
I stopped at GC last Friday and there was a lot of activity.
Stopped at the local MGR yesterday and the lot was full.
I wore a mask and gloves. No one allowed in the store without a mask. All the employees had masks.
There were arrowed lines on the floor people were supposed to follow, and floor markings 6 ft. apart for people to wait in line,
but it seemed those were mostly ignored. I didn't stay inside...
The wait was so long because I had a set of drums in the car I was going to trade in.
I've seen them much busier before, when it was elbow to elbow - but you know, covid and all that.
The employees were excited and kept mentioning black friday, so there was undoubtedly some hyperbole involved...
Duh - I posted before scrolling down and seeing the thread about it.
It probably would help if Ludwig would update their site once in a while. ;)
Makes me wonder what other new stuff they have that I don't know about.
Does anyone have a good memory? Or would someone happen to have saved the listing or a picture?
Curious as to what the price was - consensus was that it was high.
Also curious as to what the finish was - consensus was that it looked real good.
A wrap can hide a lot of defects and damage.
Things like split or gouged wood, poor quality or mismatched wood, extra holes, scratches, nicks, dents, and so on.
A new wrap can make an old, beat up kit look new.
Can't judge a book by its cover.
