My vote is for Pearl for 900 & 1000 series stands, booms and brackets, because joints and tubing is solid, design is sleek and not blocky (if that makes sense). For pedals, I like DW, Pearl and Tama, they all have great feel and solid build quality on their mid and top tier designs.

I'm currently debating between getting either the DW Design Nickel over Brass 14×5.5 snare, or the Gretsch Renown Maple 14×5 snare. I picked up this lovely 70's Gretsch 13/16/22 kit the other week and have not stopped playing it since. These shells sound excellent! It has some really cool fade to it that I think adds to the character.

Good setup here. In great condition, hardly used. I slop-chopped the hihat stand's top tube to lower it by about an inch, but it's still plenty tall. Asking $199 plus shipping.
