Luxury goods cater to a different consumer.

I have a friend who does quite well in real estate and he has spending habits I’ll never understand. For one, he never wears socks twice. He will throw away each pair of socks after wearing them once. He doesn’t wear Hanes you find in a 6 for $8 pack either.

I could see him walking into a drum shop, if he drummed, and think this was funny and buy it. He would then get drunk 6 months later and sell it at a party for $50 because it’s ruining the vibe of the living room.
