Looking for info on this 16" premier bass drum kit. Is it factory or not?
I went on premier's website and under the heritage brand there was a 16x14" bass drum configuration.
Can anyone tell if this is one or not?
FYI...It didn't come with a floor tom so I found a cosmic percussion close to the same color.

If it's not factory it's a professional job , very well done.

I've since gotten a 20x8" heritage kit so this is now on the shelf as part of my premier collection.
Also since I've gotten the heritage kit ... I just sold my Tama 18x14" bop kit 2 mounted ,14" floor tom and its cos snare. Deep red color. Beautiful drums.

Anyway , thx for any info.

It's got APK badges , and not made in England .because it would say on the badge.
I should have measured it while I had it out of the case.
Thx

I think you're on the good right track; finding a floor..I don't envy that task..

Floor tom will have to do for now.

Has you ever seen or heard of a 16" premier bass drum.
I never have ... Saw this one and bought it quick.

The drum configuration you have is called apk heritage micro-bop.

I messed up. This post should have gone to general .
Thx tho for the info.

Can I move this post?
Also,
Does your tom mounting post barely loosens enough to get the tom slid down before it's completely loose?

Lastly , Not meaning to be picky (honestly) but,
by current , you mean recent as I believe they are no longer in buisness . Not that it matters. Unless you've heard the're back? I hope.
Thx again.

I don't own a kit like this my self so i coludn't tell regarding your tom Mount. Perhaps it's Just one of those parts that needs to be broken in?

The starte of premier is as it has been the last 10 years or so... Very under the radar. I think they have been focusing more on their marching and orcestral assets lately. They just came out with a New timpani range i think.
The drum kits are not that easy to Come by in the US since i don't think that have any us distribution atm.
The apk Micro bop should still be in production tho.
