That's a beauty in simplicity. Someone is going to love it. Would be hard to cut loose from a sellers standpoint.

Sweet painting! Jim Messina among others collect a lot of cool heads. Vintagedrumtalk and Drum History Podcast have related episodes that feed my interest. A few months ago I was able to purchase a complete and all original 1927/28 L&L trap set with K’s, first stamps, Chinese toms, two piece 10 lug snare, etc. Although common, the mountain scene is one of my favorite. I plugged in the super sketch cord and to my surprise the lights still worked. I’m years behind on posting fun drum collector stories so I don’t expect a press release anytime soon however here are a few painted head pics for now.

Very cool and clean original kit but unfortunately will not be a high dollar sale but I hope I am wrong.
