2 more “snoms” in process lol

My wife bought me a Black Pearl Export with 10x10, 12x10, a replacement 14x12 PDP Z tom and a 22x18 kick. The PDP floor tom is garbage so I quickly went on the hunt for a “proper” floor tom. I came across an ad for 2 black Jupiter marching snares that will go perfectly with this kit. Going to make them into snoms.

Not sure if the wood used on these but I would guess poplar, Philippine mahogany, something along those lines. It it comes out like my Premier marcher that is now a snom, it will fit in just how I like it.

A “snom” is a tom and a snare in one pretty much. Some examples below… in the first 2 clips the “snom” is in the place of a 14” floor tom.

Wel I had a "tomsn".
A tom converted to a snare.
tom shell was a 14x10, cut down to 14x 8.

Shell was cut down the middle, then glued an butt jointed, by Eddie Ryan (80s, London drum maker) I was given it as a virgin shell.
I drilled an fitted Pearl lugs with their parallel action strainer.

Later converted to an standard throw off with a military snare wire.
Cracking sound from it.
