Two great pickups H !! You are going to love that Peter Erskine snare . It has so much oomph for a thinner shell snare . It is a beautiful brush drum too . I love it .

Great looking snares and that Tama set is sweet!

Like others, I am interested in hearing about the Peter Erskine snare.

Lovely.

Enjoy and play them well, as I’m sure you shall.

Just because you live closer to Santa, and he probably comes to your gigs in his off-season, doesn’t mean you have to make us all so jealous, dude.

Happy early blooming Christmas.

Even Santa needs a shot of double malt now and then...

The Erskine is most definitely a great all-round snare. It sounds happy, pleasant to the ear and very fullbodied. Kinda like a snare should sound. Compared to other snares I own it’s not as loud but it has some great qualities like cross stick, dead center hit sans rimshot is thick and rich (which is the ultimate snare test in my book) and sensitive. Surpisingly much body. This is no piccolo for sure. I can see it in ALL kinds of situations and styles. Great little thing.
