I know a fella that could play one. When I sat at the set it was a manhole cover. He made it sound like a heavy old K. Best cymbal sound in a high ceiling large room Fusion trio/Jazz/ sax/keys/ and drums/ I've ever heard. Drummer was Roger Humphries nephew Greg.
Pittsburgh area. All I can say is if you bond with it you bond with it.

I think its basically near equivalent to the K Custom...in my opinion, its a great cymbal when a dark ping is needed. Great bell too.

24" if you want to wake the dead- I think you'd be better off sampling some of the Big & Ugly - new sabian offers- and get a little more modern tweak on same recipe. might likely be same or less price less weight

a mere 4405 g's (ha

Had a bunch 20s 22s
Finally settled on an early 80s HH 20 around 2800 g
A real good time keeper wash is there but fairly dry and never gets in the way
Crashable for rock and the bell will bring home the cows.
If you like to lay down the tempo and be heard this is the pie
Darker tone with a bright ping its a great combo
Plays well with others

I remember Bryan Adams' drummer was featured in the mid 80s Sabian ads and that was a popular ride sound at that time. It seems like a cool ride, but I don't recall ever coming across one in person.
