5.5x14 Maple PDP (Pacific) 10-lug Snare drum Wood Hoops

Offering this 5.5x14 Maple Pacific 10-lug Snare drum with Wood Hoops. I honestly did not spend much time with this drum since I bought it. I hate the batter head that is on it, but if you like it -- bonus. Nice glossy shell - tube lugs - and I like the strainer.

The wood hoops have some issues - and I believe I have captured those with the pics. I am not very experienced with wood hoops on snares - but if I were to keep this I would sand the hoops down and repair the bit of ply separation. I just have too many projects and want to get out of this one. It is way too nice of a snare to just sit and wait for me -- and should be played.

Are the tension rods the finer kind, or "regular" ones? I have a PDP "Black Ace" 5x14 NOB snare with tube lugs and it's decent, but the rods are the finer DW style.

I used my pitch guage and they either are or very close to 32. Here is a pic, they look very fine to me.

I own one and the hoop ply separation appears to be common,but a $115 bucks is a good price.

main point was the wood hoops, there was no wood hoop snare more affordable at the time; GLws

Hi guys.......

Decided the hoops themselves will sell much faster than the whole snare. I have a brand new pair of COS hoops I could slap on this....then might keep it. Going to try it out tonight, change out this lame-dot head and see how it sounds and feels.

Either way......hoops alone will hit the market later tonight....any interest at $90 shipped (free shipping....just please cover my PP fee)? All issues captured in pics....
Only issues are on the bottom hoop....outer ply....or is that like a veneer? Looks like the outer ply of the top hoop may have already been removed? See difference in color and top does not feel/look to have any finish on it.
