Dang. Some of them were effected to death, but what great sounds. You can see why he has the name he does.

The best ones sounded like James Brown's live snare sound of the 60s

#22 sounded like the song "Heatwave"
#27 sounded like " Billie Jean"
This guy is pulling our leg..

#39 sounded like " Gonna Be Starting Something" by Michael Jackson

Sorry, I didn’t think the tuning was very good on most of them. Maybe just the mike, but I sure would Ike to play all of them.

So you made it past #9, eh? ;)
Yes I made it to the end and decided "this guy's playing"
He's having a ball and wants "you" to watch.
Maybe the Ad generated will buy him a new Mustang
it's what a section- a part of the world's- come to- Clicks= cash. Hey. whatever. weird world.
I'd like my dollar worth of time back tho.
Except for those Leedy Black Elites

So you’re suggesting a guy who made a name for himself replicating drum breaks and recorded sounds can tune, play and record drums that sound a bit like famous recordings?…

He’s done it for a handful of reasonably sized artists… Eminem, Kanye, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Drake, etc

Not a real document of how all these snares really sound, but I don't think that was the intent in making the video. I found the ability to recreate the vibe, feel and groove of many a well known beat or two, very impressive. Easy to see why people want to work with him. He's better than a sampler.

Great playing, fun video. I like the GMS snares he's got - would love to hear more of those. And those Radio Kings!!!
