Hi there - I scored this 3000g 24" A Zildjian with a late 50's small stamp yesterday. It is in mint condition - no dents, no edge cracks, no keyhole - just some lovely patina and some stock marks. For a 60 plus year old cymbal, it is just about brand new :) And the bonus is that it does not sound too shabby either - here's a little video I took.

There's something I find quite mystical about really old cymbals - besides wondering who played them (especially 24" which were probably not that popular back then) and then the craftmanship in making them - the attention to detail, the uneven surface, the unique taper from bell to edge on each cymbal, the lathe clatter and individuality of each one - it's just amazing. I have 2 24" Zillies - a 50's Bloock Stamp and this one and they look and sound miles apart. I'll make a video of both over the weekend and post them. Its like comparing chalk and cheese.
